From bean to raspberry!

We had our second ultrasound this morning. I am amazed..really. I cannot believe how much bigger it (eh..he..she?) is! We are measuring at 7 weeks and 4 days. The heartbeat was measured at 158 beats per minute. Doc says everything is looking great! We go back on January 10th for another ultrasound.

It is slowly becoming more real to me. Watching that little heart beat is just amazing. I tried not to cry, but I failed miserably...

My boobs have reached monumental soreness. And the constipation? Oy. Must drink more water..more more more. TMI, I know. But hey..this IS a pregnancy journal after all...and pregnancy ain't all roses all the time..even if it DOES feel like I am shitting thorns.. *sigh*

I still cannot get over how much I sleep. Although last night I got two hours, tops. I just could not get comfortable no matter what I did. Then I had all sorts of weird and unsettling dreams. So..it is nap time once again!

Oh..and for those interested, here's the latest shot of BabyHen!

Comments:
Seriously, if people had told me how little I'd sleep once I had children -- I would have slept the entire 9 months my first pregnancy! ;-)

Such a cute little raspberry! So, so, so, so, so happy for you!!!!!

the cutest little berry i've ever seen! :)

like robyn said, sleep now sister! i was lucky though - both of our boys were sleeping through the night at three weeks of age. and i STILL thought i was going to die. some babies, they don't sleep well until they're past the six month mark. god help those people.

now, go nap!

Once you get out of this first trimester you're going to feel so much better. I'm about to go into trimester three, and I hear it's a lot like the first one was...yuck. Good luck with your next ultrasound :).
